The LG G2 mini LTE is now available in the Philippines as an exclusive postpaid offering by Smart Communications. It’s one of the cheaper 4G options in the country for just Php1,200 a month.
To recap, the LG G2 mini is a 4.7-inch qHD smartphone running on Android 4.4 KitKat. It’s powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400, Adreno 305 graphics, and 1GB of RAM. It also boasts several features found in the bigger G2, such as the distinct rear hardware buttons, Guest Mode, and Knock Code. The 4G LTE variant has virtually the same specifications beyond the faster Internet connectivity.
The phone is offered by Smart under its All-In Plan 1200. That postpaid subscription automatically includes Unli LTE 995 for no-limit LTE surfing every month. Users can also customize their plan by bundling text and call services using the remaining consumable balance. A Php2,000 one-time fee is required for this subscription.
The LG G2 mini LTE is also available at Plan 999, but this comes with a Php4,766 one-time cashout (or Php199 on top of the monthly fee). Free texts and calls are also included. The plan has a 24-month lock-in period.
