Vivo is set to launch the new Vivo S7 5G a week from now.

The Vivo S7 5G’s release will happen only months after its predecessor, the Vivo S6 5G, came out to the market. In their official Weibo page, the company announced that they will be introducing the S7 5G on August 3, 2020 in China at 7:30 PM UTC+08:00.

Although it’s yet to be announced, the key specs and design of the device have been already revealed by a tipster.

It appears that the S7 5G will feature the old notch on the top of the screen, with a rectangular camera glass on the back like we saw on the Vivo X50 series. Of course, it will feature a color gradient design, too.

The notch on the front will feature two cameras. One of them will sport a whopping 44-megapixel sensor, while the other one will use an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens.

Below that is the 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen. It goes without saying that the device will sport an in-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, it’s rumored to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor.

It’s expected to have four cameras on the back, which may consist of a 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 13-megapixel portrait lens.

We’ll have more details about the Vivo S7 5G, and weather or not it will arrive in the Philippines and other countries outside China, once it gets fully unveiled on August 3.
