Xiaomi is having a grand time in Barcelona, Spain during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. They have introduced a couple of products to the global audience, including the new Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra.
Both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra global versions are essentially the same as their Chinese counterpart. Sadly, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is still stuck in the motherland.
That said, the Xiaomi 14 will have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a compact 6.36-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen at 120Hz, 4,610mAH battery, 90W wired, and 50W wireless charging.
It also has upgraded cameras featuring three 50-megapixel sensors and a 32-megapixel on the front.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has much better cameras for photographers. This one has an additional 50-megapixel sensor — for a total of four. The main one uses a 1-inch LYT-900 sensor with a variable aperture of f/1.6-f/1.40, joined by three IMX858 with an ultra-wide lens, 5x periscope with OIS, and 3.2x telephoto with OIS.
It also has a bigger 5,300mAh battery with the same 90W wired charging but a much faster 80W wireless charging. Like the rest of the series, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and an LTPO AMOLED screen at 120Hz.
Now that it’s official internationally, it won’t be long until both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra get launched in the Philippines, so be on the lookout for that.
