One of the best features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is its ludicrous 48-megapixel primary camera. But if it’s still not enough to wow you, then its upcoming Night Mode update might finally do.
We’ve already seen this feature in tons of other devices like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the OPPO R17 Pro. However, there are still a few reasons why you should be excited about the night mode in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.
As stated earlier, this device has a pixel-packed 1/2-inch ISOCELL GM1 48-megapixel sensor for taking well-detailed photos. But as per Xiaomi, neighboring pixels could work as one, forming a 12-megapixel sensor.
Having larger individual pixels means that it can capture more light, thus creating well-lit images, even in low-light scenarios.

We also expect this feature to implement a long-exposure shot, just like how the Night Mode feature work in other devices works.
Xiaomi demonstrated this feat on the sample shot images taken by the Mi Mix 2S. You can see them below. We can expect to get better equally good or even better images with the Redmi Note 7.
As of the moment, the Night Mode feature is available on the Mi Mix 2s, Mi 8, and the Mi Mix 3. The budget-friendly Pocophone F1 is also expected to get it on February.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is an amzing phone within an affordable price. With night mode it iwill become even more attarctive for potential buyers.
