The much-awaited Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 series is finally making its way in the Philippines.
In an announcement made in their official Facebook page, Xiaomi Philippines announced that imminent arrival of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro in the country.
But unlike the Redmi Note 7, it looks like we’re also getting the Pro model here in the Philippines. The social media post have the hashtag “RedmiNote8Series”, which suggests that we’ll be having more than one smartphone releases.
Also, the image has the words “Philippines’ first 64-megapixel quad-camera king”. This large sensor is only seen on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro model. Which is, by the way, is also powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G90T processor, a 6.53-inch FHD+ screen, and a 4,500mAh battery.
Still, there’s no reason not to be excited with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. This one has a 48-megapixel camera, a Snapdragon 665 processor, and a 4,000mAh battery.
The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 series is expected to be a major hit once again, just like what the Redmi Note 7 was here in the Philippines.
But, we can never know for sure unless we have the official price. That’s what we’re about the figure out once it launched in the Philippines on October 11, 2019.
