lg g7 leaked

LG was expected to launch their new flagship smartphone — the LG G7 — back at Mobile World Congress 2018. But apparently, the company hit the breaks and instead launched the new LG V30s ThinQ devices.

But now, it seems like LG is finally wrapping up the development of the LG G7. There is news circulating in the local Korean media that the G7 will be launched in April and it will eventually be available in May.

According to the leaked images and a few other details, the LG G7 will use an OLED panel all-screen display and sport the infamous display notch on top. It’s supposed, main competitor — the Samsung Galaxy S9 — dismissed the notch. So I guess LG wants to separate themselves by, well, adding a notch.

Moving on, the LG G7 is expected to have some of the best hardware you’d expect from a flagship smartphone. The chipset is rumored to be a Snapdragon 845, with 6GB/64GB configuration on the G7, while the G7+ will get a 6GB/128GB combo.

It will also be equipped with two (2) 16-megapixel cameras at the back, a quad-DAC, and a 3000mAh battery. It will likely have the AI features that the new V30s ThinQ have as well.

The LG G7 is expected to cost around USD850 (~ Php44,000) and up.
