It looks like Xiaomi won’t be holding on to the title for too long.

In a leak by KJuma on popular Chinese forum Weibo, he claims that Meizu is working on a 100 percent bezel-free smartphone. Kjuma also said that it will be using Qualcomm’s latest ultrasonic fingerprint sensor technology placed on the bottom of the display. Aside from the pictures, the leak also specified some key specifications. But considering it’s still a rumor, take this with a grain of salt.

Meizu Pro 7 will be coming in with a 5.62-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. There will be 6GB of RAM and a choice between 64GB and 128GB internal storage. In front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. It will feature the latest version of Flyme OS, 5.1. The company is also stepping up its fast charging game with mCharge 4.0 rapid charge technology which can charge the device completely in just 40 minutes. While that certainly sounds impressive, we have to note that it’s only 6.55mm thick, which leaves little room for the battery. It’ll probably be less than 3000mAh.
