We are just a few days away from the OPPO F7 official launch. The company has been teasing us with its iPhone X-like display but it hasn’t revealed too much about its actual specifications and features.
So far, what we know is that it will have a 6.23-inch Full HD+ display with a tall 19:9 aspect ratio and an 88% screen-to-body ratio. We also know that it will have a 25-megapixel camera in front. Unsurprisingly, all of them were confirmed by the leaked data.
It wouldn’t be a real OPPO device without the AI Beauty mode. The front camera will also be used for its improved face unlock feature. Additionally, OPPO will be adding AR stickers support. On the back, there’s a 25-megapixel camera equipped with HDR technology.
OPPO F7 will utilize the new MediaTek Helio P60 chipset — a processor that has the right muscle to handle AI-related tasks. This will help the F7 have better camera features as the AI can analyze different scenes, isolate the foreground from the background, and recognize your photo library for better organization and classification.
The device will come with ColorOS 5.0 running under Android 8.1 Oreo. It is also getting a 3,400mAh battery capacity — 13.3% more than the F5.
Of course, just like every other leak, nothing is official until its confirmed by the brand. Interestingly, it seems like OPPO is already admitting that the information is correct, as they probably requested /Leaks to lock the post which contained the images posted above.
The OPPO F7 will be officially announced on March 26 in India. Several days ago, promotional posters of the F7 were spotted in the Philippines. Stay tuned for more details.
