Vivo has been teasing their upcoming smartphone, the Vivo APEX 2019. And just like most high-end smartphones today, it looks like the device’s design is going to be in the spotlight here.
Now, we have a more detailed look at what the Vivo APEX 2019 might actually look like. A renowned leakster on Twitter named Ben Geskin (@VenyaGeskin1) has posted a photo of what appears to be a render of Vivo’s upcoming flagship smartphone.
The image clearly highlights one of the device’s best feature — the all-screen display. It looks like it will have the same screen-to-body ratio that the NEX S have, but with a more curvy trim.
There’s also no selfie camera seen on the front, which leads us to believe that Vivo might keep the mechanical pop-up camera on this device.
Moving on, the device has a really minimalistic back design. There are two rear cameras in here, which are placed individually on a horizontal orientation. The back panel itself has this white glossy finish, which looks like stainless steel. However, we expect Vivo to stick on glass, or step up a bit by using ceramic.
There’s also no fingerprint scanner visible on the back, which means that the Vivo APEX 2019 will sport an OLED panel to accommodate an in-display one.
Vivo is expected to unveil the Apex 2019 on January 24. By then, we shall have all the details about this device, so watch out for that.
