It’s been rumored that Xiaomi is preparing for another smartphone release. A device dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi A3 is said to be in the pipeline, and it appears that it will be coming sooner than expected as a photo of the retail box just appeared online.
Other than the packaging, this also provides us with the look of the device’s design. Plus some key specs and features.
From what it looks like, the Xiaomi Mi A3 is going to be the international model of the Mi CC9e. On a protective film slapped in the device, you can see that the Mi A3 is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor.
It will also have a triple camera setup on the back. It’s led by a 48-megapixel primary shooter and an ultra wide-angle camera. A 32-megapixel selfie snapper is then found on the small waterdrop notch on the front.

The leaked image also shows that it will sport an identical 6-inch Super AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner, although it’s not clear if it will end up getting the same HD+ resolution.
As for the battery, the Xiaomi Mi A3 will have 4,030mAh worth of it. With support for 18W fast charging.
Xiaomi is yet to announce the official release date for the Mi A3 yet. But we do expect to hear something about them anytime soon.
