Broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo believes the Philippine government should conduct a study, and even ban, the addictive gaming hit known as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Earlier this month, Tulfo featured a couple on his public affairs show Wanted sa Radyo, with the wife accusing her husband of domestic abuse. The cause of the broken relationship? The wife was apparently so addicted to Mobile Legends that the husband thought he needed to knock some sense into her.

After the couple aired their sides of the story, Tulfo weighed in on the mobile game. He acknowledged that the game could bring joy and even fortune to a lucky few. But then he also heard accounts of depression, suicides, and ill-effects on the gamers’ physical health and relationships brought by Mobile Legends addiction.
You can watch the video on Tulfo’s YouTube channel. It ends with Tulfo saying that the government needs to study the effects of Mobile Legends on its players.

It’s great to see discussions around the impact of Mobile Legends. While gaming can have its perks, it’s crucial to understand the potential negative effects on mental health and productivity. I agree that a deeper study is needed, and if the evidence points to significant harm, the government should definitely consider taking action. Balance is key!
I completely agree with Raffy Tulfo’s perspective! While Mobile Legends is fun, it’s important to consider its impact on young players. Studying the effects of such games could lead to better regulations that protect our youth. If needed, a ban could be a necessary step to ensure their well-being. It’s a conversation worth having!
I completely agree with Raffy Tulfo! Mobile Legends can be incredibly addictive, especially for the younger generation. It’s good that we’re having this conversation about its impact. Studying its effects could help us understand how to regulate its use better. If it proves to be detrimental, then a ban shouldn’t be off the table.
It’s interesting to see Raffy Tulfo take such a strong stance on Mobile Legends. While the game has its merits, I can understand concerns about its impact on youth. A thorough study could provide valuable insights. However, banning it outright might not be the best solution—maybe regulation and awareness campaigns would be more effective. What do you think?
I totally agree with Raffy Tulfo! Mobile Legends has become so addictive for many kids and even adults. It’s important for the government to take a closer look at its impact on our society, especially on youth. A ban might be extreme, but some regulation could really help. What do you all think about finding a balance between gaming and real-life responsibilities?
I completely agree with Raffy Tulfo’s viewpoint. Mobile Legends may entertain many, but the impact on society, especially the youth, is concerning. Studying its effects could reveal critical insights, and if necessary, a ban might be warranted for the greater good. It’s time we prioritize mental health and well-being over transient gaming trends.
