Apple just revealed the new version of their wearable OS, the watchOS 7.

Launched alongside iOS 14, the watchOS 7 for the Apple Watch have been introduced with new features along with it.


One of the improvements is seen on the watch faces, which are now more customizable and offers more information. Chronograph Pro features a tachymeter. Other watch faces are getting more complications and new LGBTQ rainbow-themed designs.

You can customize watch faces and add complications based on your needs and share them with friends.


Apple also made an all-new Sleep App which provides detailed tracking and analysis of your sleep. Learning more about your sleep quality can provide hints of about your overall health situation.

The Sleep App also gives you bedtime reminders and wake-up sounds. It’s also equipped with features to help those who have trouble sleeping.


Apple has also added fitness tracking for dance, functional strength training, core training, and even post-workout cooldown.

In light of the new normal caused to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Apple watchOS 7 automatically detects if you’re handwashing and starts a 20-second timer — the recommended duration of properly washing your hands. Your watch can also detect when you get home and will remind you to clean your hands.
