After teasing it during the Galaxy 24 event in January, Samsung went to the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC) in Barcelona to fully unveil the Galaxy Ring.
The Samsung Galaxy Ring is a smart wearable that can track your health and activities 24/7. A perfect alternative for those who don’t like wearing smartwatches, even when they go to sleep.

As per Samsung, it will be available in US ring sizes 5 to 13, which they will be branding as sizes S to XL.
It has a concave shape that tapers in the middle and, since it can be considered a fashion product, the Galaxy Ring will be available in three different colors to match your style: Gold if you’re feeling fancy, Platinum Silver for elegance, and Ceramic Black if you want something subtle.

The sensors are inside the ring, which can read your heart rate, and breathing rate, and even record your sleep quality and movements while asleep. Samsung claims it can also detect early signs of sleep apnea.

Like other Galaxy wearables, you can pair it with the Samsung Health smartphone app for a detailed look at all the data it gathered, see your vitality score, and set well-being goals.
The Samsung Galaxy Ring will be initially compatible only with Galaxy smartphones but will soon expand to other Android devices. Pricing and availability details will be revealed later this year.
