As always, Cherry Mobile is at it again. We’ve covered their numerous android phones this Q1 of 2013 and it seems like they will continue to pour more models as we enter the month of April. Enough with the pranks and lets get down with the news, this one is hot.

According to the leaked poster, the Cherry Mobile Hyper will boast a 5-inch display and a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but as of now there’s no mention of RAM. It could be the old 512MB, but let’s not count out the possibility of 1GB RAM since the Cherry Mobile Titan TV flyers didn’t disclosed that information too – but it came with 1GB. In terms of display, we’re expecting a WVGA (480×800) pixel resolution and hopefully, it’s an IPS type though we’re doubtful on this one as the Cherry Mobile Titan doesn’t have it. It’ll be really awesome if they can come up with a qHD, though. Other known features are the 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, and the 4GB of internal storage.

Cherry-Mobile-Hyper

At first glance, the Cherry Mobile Hyper closely resembles the original Titan at every angle and even the print on the Menu, Home, and Back buttons are identical. The shape of the smartphone is also the same that’s why people who commented on the leaked photo intially thought that it’s the Titan. Another confusing factor is it’s price, which is listed as Php6,499 and will be lowered to Php4,999 on the Cherry Mobile Festival.

These are the only details we have regarding the Cherry Mobile Hyper specs but we’ll update this post once we receive more information about the device. Since it’s a 5-incher, I have high hopes for its battery capacity and I believe will not let us down on that category even though they’ve released mediocre ones before. It’s also one of the core factors that consumers are looking for because they want to keep their device running all throughout the day.

In case you’re thinking that this is an April Fools joke, it’s not. Our source – Cherry Angel, a known seller of Cherry Mobile devices and accessories, has confirmed the existence of Cherry Mobile Hyper and they said that it will go on sale this April. If you’ll remember, both the Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0 and Cherry Mobile Omega HD are scheduled to be out this month too but some kiosks already started selling them as early as the 3rd week of March.

What do you guys think about the Cherry Mobile Hyper?

Thanks, Cherry Angel!

Rooted ang Galaxy y ko. Possible ba to?

  2. good specs na yan sa price na yan.. bat wlang gpu ? ang gaganda ng processor tapos wlang gpu ang baba pa ng ram pero ok na naman kc di naman masyadong mahal ang price !! :)

    1. di upgradable yan.. wla ngang nkalagay na upgradable to jellybean or android 4.1

  3. that price is nice, but the battery and ram might suffer the specs cut. why dont they just make this P6K and make the RAM 1GB and the battery atleast 2100 mah
