Cherry Mobile has finally launched its latest (and probably last) addition to its Superion tablet line for the year. Now available and selling for Php7,499, the Cherry Mobile Superion Odyssey also happens to be the most pricey (hence, the superior) of the lot.
While certainly priced more than all its Superion siblings, the Odyssey does boast the best specs in the line. It offers a 1.2GHz quad-core processor from MediaTek, running behind a 7.85-inch LCD screen with IPS technology. The rear camera touts a resolution of 5 megapixels, while onboard RAM is 1GB.
The front camera has a decent 2MP resolution, which should be fine for the occasional selfie shots and Skype video chats. The internal storage is 8GB, with the actual free space even smaller because of the preinstalled Jelly Bean OS and bundled software. On the plus side, external expansion is ample at up to 32GB. The Cherry Mobile Superion Odyssey’s battery capacity is also relatively large at 4000mAh, complemented by a free Power Bank unit that’s comes with every purchase of the tablet.
