HMD Global has rolled out a new version of the XR21 smartphone, which initially debuted under the Nokia brand last year. This rugged handset is assembled in Europe, following the footsteps of the XR21 5G Limited Edition that was introduced a few months ago.
The specifications of the rebranded HMD XR21 remain largely unchanged from the original. It features a 6.49-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The also device boasts dust and water resistance with an IP68 rating and meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards.

The HMD XR21 comes equipped with a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual rear camera setup, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 4800mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Notably, it runs on Android 13 right out of the box and will receive two years of OS upgrades.
The HMD T21 tablet, on the other hand, sports a refreshed camera design compared to the Nokia T21 which launched in 2022. It maintains its predecessor’s 10.36-inch 2K LCD screen and is powered by a UNISOC T612 Octa-Core processor. The tablet supports 4G connectivity and includes 4GB of RAM with 64GB of base storage. Both front and rear cameras are 8-megapixel, and the device is rated IP52 for dust and splash resistance. It houses an 8200mAh battery with support for 15W charging. Like the XR21, the T21 also runs Android 13 and is slated for two years of OS updates.

The new HMD XR21 is available in Midnight Black color, priced at 599.99 Euros (~Php37,000) for the sole 6GB/128GB variant. Meanwhile, the 4GB/64GB HMD T21 is available in Black Steel, priced at 299.99 Euros (~Php18,700). Both devices are currently available for purchase in several countries across Europe and the UK.
