Huawei has launched a new high-end tablet, the MatePad Air. As the name suggests, it will feature a thin and light design.
The new Huawei MatePad Air comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It may not be the latest flagship chip from Qualcomm, but it used to be one of the most powerful chips around. Those who love to multitask will appreciate the top-tier variant’s generous 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

On the front, we have a large 11.5-inch IPS display with a 2.5K pixel resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on top, while on the back, we have a decent 13-megapixel main shooter.
Keeping the lights on is a decent 8,300mAh battery with 40W charging. Huawei also threw in a quad-speaker setup with a four-microphone array.

The new Huawei MatePad Air has a starting price of CNY2,889 (~Php22,900) in China for the 8GB/128GB model. A 12GB/512GB variant is also available for CNY4,499 (~Php35,600). You can also pair the device with a keyboard and stylus, which are sold separately.
