At long last, Infinix finally has a 5G smartphone. Meet the new Infinix Zero 5G.
It may not be a proper flagship device, but this Find X3 Pro-lookalike sure is a step in the right direction for the company. The Infinix Zero 5G is powered by a Dimensity 900 processor. Not the most powerful chipset that MediaTek makes, but it sure is up there.
The rest of the specs are not too shabby, either. The device comes with a large 6.78-inch display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a responsive 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Around the back, there’s a seamless camera bump that’s similar to the aforementioned flagship from OPPO. It holds the 48-megapixel main camera, a depth sensor in the middle, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x magnification that’s perfect for portraits. The 16-megapixel selfie snapper peaks through a punch-hole on the middle-top of the screen.
Under the hood, the Zero 5G comes with a large 5,000mAh battery, so don’t expect it to be ultra-thin. It’s bundled with a 33W wired charger with Rheinland certification for safety.
It still ships with Android 11 with XOS 10 interface on top. But being a brand-new device, it should receive the latest Android 12 update in the near future.

The Infinix Zero 5G comes in three fancy colors: There’s the leather-like Skylight Orange, a sleek Horizon Blue, and the stealthy Cosmic Black. The official price and availability details in markets like the Philippines are yet to be revealed.
