Lenovo Mobile Philippines gives a new flavor to their android smartphone line up in the Philippines with the emergence of Lenovo P700. Before this, Lenovo also presented the Lenovo A65 and A60 in which both of the devices had a good start in the very compelling smartphone market. Now, they managed to release a mid-range level dual-SIM android phone.
The Lenovo A65 features a 3.5-inch Screen display, a 800MHz processor that’s currently running in Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and a cheap price tag! Yes, it only sells for Php5,499 which makes it a direct competitor of the Alcatel Glory 918N which is a dual-SIM android phone too.
As the odds go higher, Lenovo made the P700 as the answer for the ever-growing mid-range level phone competition.
Lenovo P700 Features
The Lenovo P700 boasts a 4-inch WVGA Capacitive IPS LCD touchscreen display (similar to the iPhone) 16M colors for stunning visuals and great viewing angles, a 1GHz processor for a fast phone operation, a 512MB RAM for seamless multi-tasking, a large enough 755MB internal storage for all the files, and Face unlock. What? Face Unlock? Yes, you read it right. It is running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which means you will get the updated Android features. So will it get an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean? No official information about it yet. With a sufficient space of RAM and a strong processor, you don’t have to worry about the basic lag problems because it will definitely get rid of it easily.
Apart from all those mentioned above, the best asset of this phone is its Dual-SIM/Dual-Standby capability that perfectly suits those who’s always on the go. This factor makes it easy to navigate between two cellular networks without switching phones. Like other android phones, it is only capable of giving the 3G connectivity to the first SIM while the second SIM will only get 2G/EDGE. So, if you will use your phone for mobile surfing, better put your preferred internet network to the first slot so you can enjoy a much faster connection.
The Lenovo P700 also promises a long-lasting battery life because it is packed with a 2500mAh battery that can net you tons of hours in browsing the web, playing games, playing music and watching videos and so much more! Imagine what you can do with that much battery and you can almost do it all. On top of that, the gadget is offered with a couple of freebies!
Freebies
Aside from the phone’s package, it also includes a Belkin 1000mAh Power Pack, a 2GB microSD card, and a Smart Buddy SIM with Php100 of load valid for 30 days! The 2500mAh battery plus the Belkin 1000mAh – will you run out of juice?
The handset also has a front facing camera for all your Skype and chatting needs. And if you want to capture that sweet homescreen of yours, just press “Power key + Volume down” at the same time and you got your screenshot! No need for an app as it is already built-in.

Hi Karatchinay, I think it’s openline.
the only downside of samsung galaxy duos S7562 is the battery (1500mAH) compared to Lenovo P700 (2500mAH)…
P700 is better than S7562 but not much. 1st, “cortex-a9 of p700 is a little faster than cortex-a5 of samsung, 2nd, “powerVR GPU of P700 is a little faster than adreno 200 of s7562. battery, well i 1000mhz power difference is a big gap, that’s 70% additional usage time… and the price, i bet its goona be at 16k above mark… hehe
Better wait for Samsung galaxy duos S7562. It has more feature than Lenovo P700. Proximity / compass which Lenovo P700 doesn’t. Levono P700 won in battery capacity. But software, features, quality and style Samsung galaxy duos S7562 have an edge. Estimated price of Samsung galaxy duos S7562, P12,000-13,000.
ron.. i have a samsung B7722… dual sim. how does it compare to the above incoming duos from samsung?
ron, tnx for the info. but price you’ve said is 12t-13t, really? is it out in the philippine market today? then, how can you say it’s price. pls. reply. tnx again.
Try to search in the web Samsung Galaxy duos S7562. According to rumor in India website the price is around 15,000 Rupees(that is there estimated price only) and it will be available in Indian market by the end of September.Maybe Southeast Asian market will follow few months later. The style looks like Samsung Galaxy S III with 4 inch display. Better wait and see. I like Lenovo P700 too but im not sure about there aftersales and software.
