Lenovo Philippines recently launched two of their latest ultrabooks last June 21, 2012 at the Forum in PICC. The two were the Lenovo IdeaPad U310 and Lenovo IdeaPad U410 which will soon be two of the hottest gadgets that will hit the Philippine gadget market by next month. Actually, we were invited in the said launch but we were unable to cope up with the schedule so we didn’t had the chance to cover it face to face.

The first IdeaPad in the list comes in with a 13.3″ HD display (at 16:9) whilst the other ideaPad U410was attributed with a 14″ HD widescreen display (at 16:9). The ultrabooks will be loaded with the Ivy Bridge processor but can be upgraded all the way to the Core i5 if ever they prefer it that way. Other notable features are the Intel GMA 4000 HD graphics for the U310,  NVIDIA GeForce 610M 1GB to handle U410’s graphics, and both of them  will be supporting the Wireless Display (WiDi) technology which gives power to the user to use it to connect wirelessly to any thing that has a large screen!

Neither of the two ultrabooks wants to give up on the slim factor category as well as the IdeaPad U310 is only 18mm thin while the IdeaPad U410 is a single hair strand thicker at 21mm. Regarding the operating system,  they will be using the Windows 7 environment. For the cream of the crop, the Lenovo Ultrabooks promises up to 7 hours of battery life with normal usage.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U310 price in the Philippines will be Php39,995 while the Lenovo IdeaPad U410 will be priced Php48,995. Both ultrabooks are expected to hit the store shelves of official retailers in our country by July 2012.
