Samsung-One-UI-2-1-supported-devices

Samsung’s latest devices, the Galaxy S20 series, and Galaxy Flip Z came out of the box with the brand’s newest One UI 2.1. For quite a while now, this newest version of Samsung’s very own Android skin has only been available to these four devices.

Fortunately, this will no longer be the case. Recently, Samsung confirmed that all devices in the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 family will receive the said update. According to reports, Samsung One UI 2.1 has started to roll out in South Korea and will be available in other markets soon.

Moreover, it seems like Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9 series will more likely to receive the update too. This, however, has not been confirmed by Samsung and was only from a Samsung community moderator in South Korea.

Just case you’re wondering, Samsung One UI 2.1 only offers few tweaks from its antecedent. Most of the improvements are in the camera department and these were the highlights during the Galaxy S20 launch event.

With the new firmware, the features will be available to older generation Samsung smartphones. These include improved Night Mode, Night Hyperlapse and custom filters. It also has a Single Take, AR Emoji, and Pro video. With this, the front camera will be able to use 4K 60FPS video recording.

We hope that Samsung will expand the list to more devices soon. For now, check the complete list of One UI 2.1 update supported Samsung devices below with One UI 2.1 update.
