The Xiaomi Mi 6 can now be purchased in the Mi store Philippines.

With the launch of the flagship Mi store in SM Megamall, Xiaomi has brought more smartphones in the country. One of them is last year’s top of the line handset, the Mi 6.

The company covered the entry-level market with the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5A, while the Redmi 5 Plus sets its crosshair on the midrange battlefield.

Unlike other flagship smartphones, the Mi 6 is a little conservative when it comes to screen size. It only features a 5.15-inch IPS Full HD display with a pixel density of 428. It’s also obvious that it sports the previous 16:9 aspect ratio standard, not the current 18:9 trend. Because of that, the bezels on the sides, top, and bottom are clearly not the thinnest around.

Even though it’s almost one year old next month, the Mi 6 is still a beast today with its powerful combination of Snapdragon 835 and 6GB of RAM. There’s also plenty of storage to store apps, games, and files as it comes with 64GB out of the box.

While the Mi 6 missed out on the 18:9 party, it rode the dual-camera train. An 8-megapixel shooter takes care of selfies, and a dual 12-megapixel configuration sits on the back.
