Motorola has come up with a new smartphone that has a so-so set of specs but managed to have the latest operating system. Here’s the new Motorola Moto G34.
The Motorola Moto G34 is powered by the two-year-old Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, a chipset that we’ve seen in a lot of midrange phones in the market. It comes in a single RAM and storage configuration: 8GB/128GB, with an 8GB virtual RAM expansion feature and a microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 1TB.
Another so-so feature is the usual 6.5-inch IPS display with only an HD+ resolution. On the upside, it has a high 120Hz refresh rate and a clean punch-hole for the sharp 16-megapixel selfie camera. Motorola also threw in a stereo speaker setup for audio.
On the back, we have a pixel-packed 50-megapixel sensor, joined by a low-resolution but more usable (than a depth sensor) 2-megapixel macro lens.
Like most phones, it has a 5,000mAh battery with a decent 18W charger.
Possibly the only redeeming quality of this device is that it ships with the latest Android 14 operating system, with Motorola’s MYUI 6.0 interface.
The Motorola Moto G34 is now available in China for a price of CNY999 (~Php7,800) and is expected to be released globally in the first quarter of 2024. It’s available in two colors: Black and Blue.
