OPPO has finally revealed the successor to the Find series with the new OPPO Find X2 and X2 Pro.
It’s not every year that an OPPO Find device comes out. That’s why it is only now that we’re getting a follow up to the OPPO Find X from two years ago.

As you know, the OPPO Find X2 and X2 Pro have premium and high-end designs. But probably their most interesting features are on the inside.
We’ll be detailing those said features, as well as the difference between the two, in our OPPO Find X2 vs X2 Pro specs comparison.

The OPPO Find X2 and X2 Pro are pretty much the same devices. However, there are a couple of things that separate them from each other.
Let’s start with the design. They may have the same size and Ceramic Black color option, but if you want to let everyone know that you’re rocking the more expensive Pro model, et the Vegan Leather Orange model instead.

The OPPO Find X2 Pro gets to have an IP68 water and dust resistance certification. That’s better protection in accidents than the IP54 splash resistance of the latter.
We really liked the cool pop-up camera of the Find X. But we’re more comfortable to use the Find X2 series on a daily basis with its streamlined design. The pop-up camera was replaced by a punch-hole on the top left.

You can also distinguish the Find X2 Pro from the vanilla model by looking at the cameras on the back.
The Pro model has a 13-megapixel periscope-style telephoto camera — which you can distinguish by the tall lens on the top of the primary camera.

This is also where the two differ from each other. The Pro model features a 48-megapixel primary shooter, another 48-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide shots, and the said 13-megapixel sensor with a periscope lens that can do 5x of optical and 60x of digital zoom.
The OPPO Find X2 has the same 48-megapixel sensor, but settles for a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and a 13-megapixel sensor with a regular 3x telephoto lens.

As you just saw, the OPPO Find X2 and X2 Pro differ in design, build, cameras, and storage options (256GB and 512GB, respectively). But other than that, they are pretty much the same.
For starters, there’s the large and vibrant 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED screen. It’s complete with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

We also have the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 12GB of RAM and an Adreno 650 GPU.
This new processor allowed the device to have a dual-mode 5G and WiFi 6 — two of the newest connectivity features for the new generation.

The batteries are only ever-so-slightly different from each other, as the Pro model comes with 60mAh more. However, they both come with ultra-fast 65W fast charging, which we are starting to see in more and more flagship devices today. It could provide a full 100% charge in under an hour.

Well, that’s it. The OPPO Find X2 is already a great option for a flagship. But if you care about ultra-wide and telephoto camera capabilities, water and dust resistance, then go with the Pro model.
Moreover, if you like hoarding photos, videos, or apps, then getting the OPPO Find X2 Pro and its 512GB might be your only option since, both devices don’t have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
