Samsung filled their new Galaxy A line-up with devices for different price categories. This gives the consumers more option when shopping for a Samsung device, whatever their budget is.
The most affordable device in their new portfolio is the Samsung Galaxy A10. If you’re a big Samsung fan, and you really want to own one of their smartphones without breaking the bank, you might want to consider this.
But if you’re not a Samsung die-hard, then there are also other alternatives out there to choose from. One of them comes from an emerging smartphone brand, Realme, and their latest Realme C2.
With this one, Realme wants to cater to those who also want an economical smartphone that can still pass as a daily workhorse. Both for work and play.
Here in our Realme C2 vs Samsung Galaxy A10 specs comparison, we shall see which between these two sub-Php6k smartphones is worth your hard-earned money.

The Samsung Galaxy A10 is a decent device all by itself, with some features that are better than the latter. However, I think we have to hand the trophy to Realme C2 for this one.
For starters, the Realme C2 has a more powerful 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor and is available in 3GB of RAM for a cheaper price. We can fully attest that it delivers decent performance, as what you can see in our full review.
That’s obviously more impressive than the 1.6GHz Exynos 7884 octa-core chipset that the Galaxy A10 has. Which only comes with 2GB of RAM for a more expensive price.
Although it’s marginally smaller at 6.1-inches (vs 6.2-inches), Realme was able to one-up Samsung by incorporating a Corning Gorilla Glass protection on their device.
Also, it may not be part of the table above, but the Realme C2 has a more appealing design. Its geometric shapes on the back give an edgy and interesting look than the plain back panel that the Samsung Galaxy A10 has.

Of course, we also have the batteries, which is one of the most important things to consider when purchasing a smartphone at this price. The Realme C2 brags a 4,000mAh of it, while the Galaxy A10 only comes with 3,400mAh of capacity.
But to the Samsung Galaxy A10’s credit, it does come with a better camera. It may lack a secondary depth-sensor that the competition has, but the wider f/1.9 aperture (vs f/2.2) in its primary camera shall capture brighter images with better quality.
But still, the Realme C2 takes the crown here. Especially when you take into consideration the price. Those who are looking for a brand new phone in this category really wants to get the best value for every penny — something that the C2 can deliver.
Not only that the Realme C2 has a set of specs and features, but it’s also cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy A10. This only starts at only Php5,490 for the 2GB/16GB model, while the 3GB/32GB variant is at Php6,490.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy 10 is available for Php6,990, and only comes with 2GB/32GB configuration.
