It’s here, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro 2019 finally launches in South Korea. This newly released device is equipped with a punch-hole display and a 3 lens camera on the back.
Samsung calls it the “Infinity-O” screen and it contains a 24-megapixel front camera for a better selfie experience. Oh, and before proceeding, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro 2019 is basically the Galaxy A8s for the global market.
This Infinity-O display is 6.4-inch in size with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, with 6GB of RAM along with internal storage of 128GB. It is also supplied with 3,400mAh of battery.
Going more into the details of the Triple Lens Camera (as one of the main feature of the Samsung Galaxy S9 Pro 2019), it has a 24-megapixels primary sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor equipped with a 2x optical zoom.
Along with the primary and telephoto shooters, there is also a depth sensor of 5-megapixel for better bokeh/portrait mode effect.
The smartphone is an example of Samsung’s promise last year to take their mid-range smartphones to a new level and compete with those of Huawei’s, Vivo’s, and Oppo’s. But with the price of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro 2019, I don’t think they’re already there.
Speaking of which, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro 2019 is available in South Korea for starting February 28 for a price of KRW599,500 (~Php28,200). It’s official pricing and availability here in the Philippines are yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
