India is one of the heaviest smartphone markets in the world today. Brands launching some of their handsets first-hand in that country is a testament to that. Just recently, they got first dibs with the new Samsung Galaxy j7 Max and J7 Pro.

The new midrange devices from Samsung will highlight the brand’s payment service. Samsung Pay, which was launched in India last March, is one of the highlighted features of both the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro. The twins will also support Samsung Pay mini, which was tailored to emerging markets.

Also, Samsung will be emphasizing the Galaxy J7 device’s camera capabilities. Both handsets will have a 13-megapixel camera on both front and back to compete against the stacks of selfie-centric handsets.

But more than that, Samsung also equipped the new Galaxy J7’s with what they are calling “social camera” features. Users can make the smartphone instantly share the newly taken pictures to their chosen contacts and social media accounts. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro also has quick editing properties as well as Snapchat and Instagram-like filters.

Still, the Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro are different from each other. The latter is more powerful than the former. The J7 Max is running on a MediaTek Helio P20 processor, while the Pro version has am Exynos 7870. The J7 Pro also has a larger 3600mAh battery, beating the J7 Max’s 3300mAh.
