The Samsung Galaxy SII’s successor, the rumored Samsung Galaxy SIII, will land on Earth in May 3, 2012. Actually, it is in Earth all the time since its creation. But what I really mean is it’s the time when Samsung will officially unveil the true beauty of its flagship phone for the year of 2012. The name was coined after its flagship predecessors which is the Galaxy S Seriesthough there is still no confirmation yet from Samsung.

Next Galaxy

A few days ago, another leaked photo and video of the device were released to the web. The video was from tinhte.vn website. However, this alleged Samsung Galaxy SIII they’ve got was sort of a test unit just to show off some of its fantastic features but hid the final design of the flagship phone as it is just presented in a plain box-type handset. As a matter of fact, it did revealed some of its most notable specs to further tease the excited fans.

Here are some of the leaked specs of the Samsung Galaxy SIII:

• 4.6 inch Super AMOLED screen with 720×1184 pixel resolution 320ppi screen density
• Samsung Quad-core 1.4GHz processor
• Mali 400 GPU
• 16GB internal memory (expandable via microSD)
• 8MP camera
• standard microSIM
• NFC Connectivity
• 2050mAh battery

These listed specs were still rumors until confirmed by Samsung. In the meantime, let’s just all wait for that faithful day in May and hope that the next Galaxy flagship handset will be able to answer the heavy load of expectations of consumers.
