Starmobile announced their own set of quad-core android phones in hopes of competing with top players such as MyPhone and Cherry Mobile. Check out more details after the break.

Starmobile Knight is the most impressive Starmobile to date and that’s largely because of its quad-core processor and stellar camera. These days people are looking for smartphones awesome cameras and while we currently have top notch quality from the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 and MyPhone A919i Duo, there’s always room for improvement.

One thing that I first noticed is that it somehow looks similar to the iPhone 5, having the same shape which Apple fans would quickly notice. So if you really love the Apple iPhone 5 but wished that it runs on Android instead, the Starmobile Knight is one good option.

The Starmobile Knight has a quad-core processor and that means it will be smooth unlike the Starmobile Diamond which struggled in handling the HD resolution because of its weaker MT6577 dual-core processor.  The Knight also comes with 1GB RAM for efficient multitasking.

It will also have a HD IPS Display that’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass making it tough enough to endure some beating.

However, the main attraction on the Knight lies on the camera. It has an 18-megapixel BSI rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing camera which is the best in the local market right now. But, it’s not all about the number of pixels so we still need to see some sample shots before we make a conclusion.

Starmobile Knight Specs

  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

  • 4.7-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass

  • 1.2 GHz quad-core processor

  • 1GB RAM

  • 4GB internal storage

  • support up to 32GB via microSD Card

  4. NOW AVAILABLE NATIONWIDE as of Aug 1. (except for other parts of the country like cagayan de oro)

The product Starmobile Knight is an excellent product. The only thing that’s bad about it is:

    1. Started with a press leak/ rumor 3 months ago
    2. Created a 3 month frenzy of hype
    3. Built so much hype that 3month waiting was an agony
    4. 3Weeks after “nationwide” release, still no stocks in cagyan de oro
    5. Hype buildup was so strong that the facebook group of Starmobile knight became from closed to secret after the launching of the Cherry Mobile Cosmos.
    6. Nationwide Release is not simultaneous. Selected stores lang pala.
    7. 3 months from product launching to release is so long. They should’ve had a product launching this September para sure na available in all stores nationwide.

By the time magka stocks sa cdo, sold out na ang Cherry Mobile Cosmos X

Good things come to those who wait.
Cherry mobile launch the Cosmos lineup, 3 days after released na ang Cosmos X. Instant Product IMPACT

Shame Campaign to your launching strategy.
