Vivo just launched the new Vivo Z1i, a toned-down version of the Vivo Z1 that was introduced back in May.

The Vivo Z1i looks really identical to its older brother. It has a shiny back panel that is also reminiscent to the Vivo X21. The Z1i also has the same 6.28-inch FHD+ display, complete with the infamous display notch on top, which houses the 16-megapixel selfie camera and other sensors.

Under the hood, it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor — an obvious compromise compared to the Snapdragon 660 chipset found on the more expensive variant. On the upside, it’s partnered with 4GB of RAM and a generous 128GB of internal storage.

On the back, we have the 13-megapixel primary camera, which is coupled by a 2-megapixel sensor to capture depth for the Portrait Mode feature. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouchOS 4.0.
