Xiaomi has officially announced the new Redmi 4s.
The Redmi 4 will continue its place as the Chinese company’s card in the mid-range market. They’ve unveiled a total of three models; each with a specific target group in mind.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A
First among the bunch is the Redmi 4A. It’s currently the cheapest among its siblings but it still managed to have an all-metal design. However, it doesn’t look as good as the more expensive ones.
It has a 5-inch IPS 720p display and it’s powered by a 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM, and Adreno 308 GPU. The phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.
Since it’s the most low-end, there’s no fingerprint scanner support which is quite a bummer. There’s a hybrid dual-SIM slot on the sides and it can also be used to expand the 16GB internal storage if need be.

The Redmi 4 Standard is a little better than the 4A. It has a 2.5D arc glass in front, but with the same 5-inch 720p display.
It has a better chipset, a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and Adreno 505 graphics. In the camera, it’s improved by supporting phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. It’s the same 13-megapixel on the rear and 5-megapixel at the front.
