ZTE recently gave some love to Google with the launch of four Android ZTE devices in the Philippines. If you’re not aware, ZTE is recognized as the fourth largest handset manufacturer in the world so they are not a new comer. If you can still remember, Smart’s Netphone 701 is a ZTE Blade. And by this time, they now have an officially appointed distributor in the Philippines which is MSI-ECS.
The first stop is an entry-level dual-SIM android phone called as the ZTE Mimosa Mini V856. The phone is just plain and simple as it only have a 650MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, 100MB of built-in storage (2GB microSD card pre-installed), and is all packed in a small 2.8-inch screen display housing running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Despite this low attributes, it is not left out way too far as it has a 2MP main camera (a standard at budget smartphones) and VGA camera, 3G/HSDPA connectivity, and GPS support. Check the full specs below:

Second stop, we have the ZTE Kis V788. It will be running Gingerbread too but with a much faster processor of 800MHz, a mediocre 256MB RAM, and a poor 1100mAh battery to power up a 3.5-inch HVGA screen? I’m pretty sure it’ll make you reach for your charger every day. Of course, not unless you don’t use it too often.

I guess the biggest surprise with the Mimosa mini is it’s front-facing camera cause even mid-range android phones barely carry that. it’s currently php 3k in ensogo and 4990 in lazada.
thats gingerbread not froyo dear.
Why so expensive? for froyo 5.3k?
