Technology has definitely made the people’s lives easier. We’ve seen different innovations to come in different industries in the last couple of years, and one of them is the field of finance and banking.

This time we’re seeing yet an incredible feat as GCash, one of the leading names in mobile payments, is now offering free bank transfers to over 30 banks in the country.

Users can easily transfer funds from their GCash wallet to any of the participating banks, anytime and anywhere just by using the GCash app.

The interesting part is, the GCash bank transfer service is free of charge. So other than doing some tapping and swiping on your smartphone, this service is both money and time efficient.

For you to transfer money, all you need is the receiver’s bank account name and the account number.

Also, there are tons of ways for you to put funds on your GCash account. You can directly deposit money through any banking institutions, or through GCash’s 16,000 outlet partners nationwide like SM Business Centers, 7-Eleven convenience stores, Villarica Pawnshop branches, and more.

You can also use your Mastercard and Visa debit cards, or through InstaPay —a service developed by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas themselves — which is present on select mobile banking apps. Adding money to your GCash account is also completely free.

So if you want to check out the new GCash bank transfer service, you can now download the GCash app on the App Store or the Google Play Store.
