The new Netflix Party Google Chrome Extension will allow you to watch Netflix movies and shows with friends, at your own respective homes.
It easily synchronizes the video playback on the Netflix movie/show that is playing on your respective computers.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a real Barkada movie marathon without you guys discussing and chatting about the movie. This is why the Netflix Party Chrome extension also comes with a group chat.
How to use the Netflix Party extension
Step 1: How it works is pretty simple. First, you should be using the Google Chrome browser. It works on both Windows and macOS machines.
Step 2: Visit the NetflixParty.com website.Click the “Install Netflix Party” button.You would then be redirected to the Google Chrome Webstore, where you would have to click “Add to Chrome”.
Step 3: Now that it’s installed, you can now go to Netflix.com and pick any movie/show you want to watch. Hit play.
Step 4: To start the Netflix Party, click the NP icon on the top right of the Google Chrome browser. Click “Start Party”.
Step 5: You will be given a unique URL, which you can forward to your friends for them to access on their Chrome browsers. Your friends will be directed to Netflix’s website. They have to click the NP button on the top left of the Chrome browser to start the party as well.
