Pokemon has always been a very popular franchise that seems to never stop growing. In fact, from starting out as a video game for the classic Nintendo Game Boy, they were able to expand it as an animated series, movie, trading card game and more.
Fast forward to today, where mobile gaming is considered as enjoyable as console gaming. It’s a no brainer for Pokemon to have the same presence in the mobile market. In fact, here are some of the best Pokemon mobile games you can download and play on your smartphones right now.
Side note: Some games on here are not yet released but are on their way!
1. Pokémon Go
Probably the most popular mobile game from Pokémon, Pokemon Go is an augmented reality game developed by Niantic.
Its main premise is to walk around your neighborhood and to try catching Pokemon in real life! This game also became an unexpected source for promoting good health as the game requires you to walk around, catching Pokemon, battling trainers at Gyms and even hatching eggs! Pokemon Go was released on July 6, 2016 for the iOS and Android.
2. Pokémon Masters
Pokemon Masters is a game where you can form and battle against teams made up from past Pokemon trainers from the original games.

3. Pokémon Rumble Rush
Pokemon Rumble Rush takes the player to a world full of uncharted islands filled with Pokemon! The mobile game was based on the first Rumble Rush released back in 2009 for the Nintendo Wii.

6. Pokemon TCG Game
The official Pokemon Trading Card Game allows you to play against the AI or even real-life players. Along with that, you can also trade your cards with other players.
The more and more you play, the more cards you can get! The one downside about this game is that it is not available for download on every device. It is only available for Windows, Mac, iPad 4th Gen onwards and other Android Tablets. You can check here if your device is compatible. Pokemon TCG Online was released on May 9, 2016.
7. Pokemon Shuffle
