Sony has unveiled the follow-up to one of the most popular true-wireless ANC earphones in the market, the WF-1000XM5.

The new Sony WF-1000XM5, as per the company, boasts their “biggest ever step forward in noise canceling,” done with the help of the three microphones per bud and dual feedback microphones.

It also comes with the new Sony Integrated Processor V2 that can enable the potential of the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN2e.

It also features a new Dynamic Driver X for better bass and clear vocals. There are also the new Noise Isolation Earbud Tips made of a special polyurethane foam material that helps reduce noise in high frequencies.

The new WF-1000XM5 has LDAC for High-Resolution Audio Wireless and can upscale compressed music in real-time with the help of DSEE Extreme. 360 Reality Audio with head tracking is also here.

Sony also improved the call quality with the help of an AI-powered noise reduction algorithm that’s based on a Deep Neural Network (DNN) processing and bone conduction sensor.

It charges via USB-C or using a wireless charger. A full charge can already last for 24 hours.

You can get the Sony WF-1000XM5 in the Philippines for a price of Php16,999. It’s available for pre-order from July 26 to August 24 both online and offline to get a free wireless charger. It’s available in two colors: Black and Gray.
