Traveling via the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) can at times feel like a sluggish affair, no thanks to what appears to be a somewhat inefficient system. But the NLEX Corp. is seeking to address that problem by investing in system-wide upgrades worth Php1.2 billion.
The company anticipates that the overhaul will provide significant benefit in the following areas: “faster recording of passages, balances, and reloads, as well as easier tracking of individual and corporate accounts.”

Among the essential upgrades, the traffic control gates, toll-fare and lane-status indicators, loop indicators, and automatic vehicle classification systems will all be subject to the enhancement.
Per NLEX Corp. President and General Manager J. Luigi Bautista, the improvement has been taking place since last year. Additionally, he states that the enterprise will remain invested in employing “innovative solutions” that will make its processes more efficient and the motorists’ experience more agreeable and hassle-free.
