Have you ever wished that the healers in your favorite video games could also help you in real life?

Start-up in health-ed Mind You MHS (Mental Health Systems) has officially started its House of Healers project, an online platform to help young Filipinos with mental health problems.

Mind You’s CEO, Yuri Marshall, said in a statement that the company built the platform so that people and communities could get mental health care and support that was easy to get and was relatively inexpensive.

Marshall said that House of Healers is new and exciting way for them to help the gaming industry in a way that more people can understand better.

The House of Healers project emerged because decades of research showed that video games are good for people’s mental health. Mind You hopes the project will be the first step on a person’s journey to better mental health.

The House of Healers project is a free way to learn about mental health and get advice from licensed psychologists from Mind You who will be playing as healer characters from video games. It is currently in a soft launch phase. Gamers can check out the “games” that the Healers will be in and can book a free one-on-one meeting in-game.

House of Healers sessions will happen every weekend in March through April 2023. Sign-up sheets will be posted on Mind You’s Instagram and Facebook pages every week.
