ASUS is already heating up the Computex 2017 even before it officially starts. The technology show will be happening in Taiwan, which is also ASUS’s hometown. The brand is starting things right with their new ASUS ZenBook Flip S.
Dubbed as the thinnest 2-in-1 laptop ever, the ASUS ZenBook Flip S is poised to go head to head with the Microsoft Surface Pro. The convertible brags a large 13.3-inch touchscreen display with a sharp 4k resolution. As the name suggests, there’s a 360-degree hinge attached to the screen. It lets you use the device in Laptop, Tent, Presentation and Tablet modes.

The 2-in-1 hybrid tablet and laptop is only 10.9mm thick and weighs 1.1kg. This makes it perfect for those planning to use it primarily as a tablet.
Other than the nifty design, it also has other leading-edge features. The convertible will run under the latest Intel 7th Gen i7-7500 processor which is more than enough to handle day-to-day and power tasks. There’s also two USB Type-C ports, which can be limiting, but still decent considering what it can do.
Unlike the Surface Pro, ASUS will be including the ASUS Pen stylus right in the package. It can also be partnered with Windows Ink for creativity purposes. And just like other newly released notebooks today, it will sport a fingerprint scanner for easy and secure access.
As for the pricing, ASUS Zenbook Flip S will be available for $1,099 (around Php54,500).
