The gaming industry was shaken last week after one of the most secretive developers, Rockstar Games, was hacked and its upcoming big game, GTA 6, has been leaked.

Over 90 videos and internal codes of the upcoming GTA 6 game have been leaked. Now, one of the culprits has been arrested.

Last September 22, a 17-year-old was arrested in Oxfordshire, UK on suspicion of hacking. The suspect is apparently known as A.K. and is also involved in the cyberattacks against Uber, Microsoft, and NVIDIA. He is also said to be part of a hacking group called Lapsus$.

In a report, it is said that the teenager has been charged with “two computer crimes and two counts of violating his bail.” The suspect appeared at the Highbury Corner Youth Court last September 24, but the details about the appearance are yet to be known.

As for Rockstar Games, the game developer addressed the issue by releasing a statement. The GTA maker said that the leak was due to a network intrusion where a third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto.”
