Through an advisory from the National Youth Commission, SK presidents nationwide are enjoined to appoint an esports coordinator to spearhead the esports initiatives in their communities.
E-Palarong Pambansa recently revealed that a total of five games on the PC and mobile platforms will be featured. These games are Call of Duty: Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Valorant, League of Legends, and its mobile counterpart Wild Rift.
Per a LinkedIn post by E-Palarong Pambansa project lead Jamar Montehermoso, the event aims to provide a platform for the grassroots esports scene in the Philippines. In other words, initiatives like E-Palarong Pambansa could lead to more opportunities for aspiring esports players to showcase their skills and promote the growth of the esports industry in the country.
