NBA 2K20 and its highly popular game mode, MyCareer, just had its new trailed dropped and it is star-studded!

2K Sports has never been shy about adding some story to their main game mode. In fact, they even got the services of Spike Lee, a famous film director, producer and writer to develop the story back in NBA 2K16.This time around, NBA 2K20 will be getting the services of LeBron James and Maverick Carter. The duo of childhood friends produced the 2K20 story and fans are excited

Oh, did I tell you that the MyCareer story is star-studded? Veteran actor, Idris Elba will be a part of the story. He’ll be playing the characters’ High School Basketball coach.

Rosario Dawson will also be in the MyCareer game. She will be playing the characters’ Mother/Authority figure. Other actors and Basketball personalities such as Jaleel White, Kemba Walker, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum, Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Hall-of-Famer Scottie Pippen are shown in the trailer.

Players will still be able to get their faces scanned in the MyCareer game. Although, like any other NBA 2K MyCareer versions, the player will be assigned a nickname.

Past nicknames include DJ, Frequency Vibrations or Freq, last year’s A.I, and etc. This year, the nickname used will be Che.

The Story they keep on incorporating in the MyCareer games is getting better and better. To think, we started out playing MyCareer without any of the elaborate stories before. Now? It’s a big emphasis or part of the game.

Kudos to 2K for consistently improving their product. Some people might find the story boring/forced in the past, which is true. Hopefully, 2K has got it all balanced now.

What do you think of the new game? Have you pre-ordered them already? Let us know down in the comments section!
