Gaming is great not only for the mind but for making bank when the opportunity arises. Anyone with superb skills can even build a career in professional esports and rake in some serious cash to, say, build a dream house. And that’s what 17-year-old Edward “EDWARD” Jay Dapadap did.

Dapadap is a teen prodigy. In 2021 alone, he has won multiple championship in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournaments, most notable of which is the M3 World Championship in December in Singapore where he and his team bagged the $300,000 (approx. ₱15.6 million) grand prize.

The player recently shared on social media his two-story house that’s soon to rise in Bataan. Like ChooxTV before him, he also thanked his family and followers and noted this accomplishment wouldn’t be without hard work and the people who believed in him.

Dapadap’s esports team, Blacklist International, also expressed their congratulations. The team is known for winning the seventh and eighth seasons of the MPL PH league back-to-back.
