The former champion of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH), RSG PH, is ready to conquer the stage once more as they prepare for the upcoming event.

Along with RSG PH’s return to the competition is also TECNO which formed a strategic partnership with the team, serving as its title sponsor for MPL PH Season 12.

RSG Chief Executive Officer Jayf Soh highlighted TECNO’s “dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation” as resonating with the team’s “mission to excel and redefine standards in the esports arena”.

RSG PH is being coached by a former champion of the MPL PH Season 9, Brian “Panda” Lim, who also subsequently won the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2022.

In addition to supporting the former champions in their campaign, the partnership with TECNO will also serve as an open door to a wealth of opportunities. Namely, further collaborations, technological integration, and fan engagement.

TECNO Philippines CEO Jason Wong said that his company aims to join together “the energy of competitive gaming with the power of cutting-edge technology” to facilitate “a new era of excitement and engagement for fans.”

The globally renowned smartphone brand is not new to partnerships in the esports scene. Previously, it also partnered with the mobile game FreeFire.

Meanwhile, TECNO had just released its latest flagship device, the POVA 5 Pro, last September 7, 2023.
