Samsung Electronics, one of the most prominent TV makers in the market today, is releasing its 2022 line-up with brand new features made for gaming.

It’s said that select Samsung smart TV 2022 models will feature cloud gaming service out of the box. Such services include NVIDIA GeForce Now, Google Stadia, and Utomik.

These applications will be under the TVs’ Samsung Gaming Hub feature, which is a new interface that will not only house cloud gaming but other related services as well.

For the uninitiated, cloud gaming service lets you play triple-A games over the cloud, even if you lack the proper hardware to do so. All you need is ultra-fast and reliable internet.

This also means that you don’t have to rely on PC and consoles like PlayStation and Xbox connected to your TV.

Going back to the Samsung Gaming Hub, it could also accommodate HDMI-connected game consoles with support for passthrough controller input. Essentially, this means that you can use the same controller when playing hardware or cloud games.

Other than improved gaming support, select Samsung Smart TVs coming out this year will also offer remote controls powered by radio waves. What’s more interesting is, they will also support NFTs.
