What are the reasons for muting words on Facebook?
Dwelling too long on social media can be detrimental to your mental health. Whether it’s political or spoiler news, numerous topics can cause distress and even depression, according to a study by the University of Pittsburg.
For that reason, we suggest taking a break from the most popular social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube every once in a while. It’s a great way to give yourself a digital detox.
However, you don’t need to completely remove yourself from the sites. You can also improve your online experience, such as creating filters for certain words that trigger negative feelings. This will ensure that your social media pages are a more positive space.
