How to unsubscribe and stop Globe/TM promos

Say, you’ve subscribed to a prepaid promo on your Globe or TM SIM, but you changed your mind and decided you want to unsubscribe to the promo right away. Want to know how to do it? We’ll teach you.

There are a couple of reasons why you might want to stop your Globe or TM promo subscription. For one, maybe the one you’ve accidentally subscribed to doesn’t have data allocation, call minutes, text, or any inclusion that you need. Or perhaps it expires faster or longer than what you need it for.

But whatever your reason is, here’s how you can unsubscribe or stop your Globe or TM promos. Let’s begin.

How to unsubscribe Globe promos

There are three ways you can stop your Globe prepaid promo subscription. The first one is through SMS, which we find faster and more convenient. The second one is by dialing *143#, which we think is the more tiring process, while the last one is through the GlobeOne app. See the processes below.

Text <Promo keyword> STOP and send it to 8080. You’ll receive a confirmation via SMS that your promo has been canceled.

For example, type GOEXTRA90 STOP and send it to 8080. Once done, you can now choose and subscribe to other Globe prepaid promos.

Step 1: Dial *143#.

Step 2: Choose the promo you are currently registered in.

Step 3: Pick STOP. Wait for a text message that your promo has been canceled.

Step 1: Launch your GlobeOne app and tap on the Data, Call, Text section. It will show the promo inclusions and balance you have left.

Step 2: Scroll down and click “Unsubscribe.”

How to stop TM promos

Text <Promo keyword> STOP and send it to 8080. For example, EasySURF10 STOP to 8080.

Now that it’s been stopped, you can now subscribe to other TM prepaid promos.

Will I get a refund when I stop my Globe TM promo subscriptions?

No. You won’t get your money back or convert it as a regular load once you stop your Globe and TM prepaid promos.

That said, you should only cancel your promo if you really have to as you won’t get any refund. Another option you could do is try and just stack them up.

Can you use multiple Globe/TM promos at the same time?

Yes. Globe users can stack GoSAKTO, GOSURF, and other select promos. The unused data allocation will be stacked to the promo with the longest expiry.

The same goes with TM as select promos are stackable. For one, you can subscribe to multiple EasySurf promos and like Globe, the unused GBs will be transferred to the promo with the longest validity.
