The Samsung Galaxy Book Ion 2020 has just become official.
It’s been revealed in China, alongside the local release of the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Z Flip. The Samsung Galaxy Book Ion 2020 has an ultra-thin design with a sleek 13.3-inch laptop profile. The screen itself uses a 2K QLED panel that can beem 600-nit in brightness.
Under the hood, it can be powered by either a 10th-Gen Intel Core i5-10210U or Core i7-10510U processor. You can configure it with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD.
One of the highlight features of the Samsung Galaxy Book Ion 2020 is its ability to wirelessly charge other devices. Although you have to place it in the trackpad, making it inaccessible when in-use. We also have a Blue fingerprint scanner here.
Samsung Galaxy Book Ion 2020 also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion, and a Thunderbolt 3 Type-C port for display output, data, and charging. A 69.7Wh battery is included that promises up to 22hrs battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Book Ion 2020’s price starts at CNY10,599 (~Php76,700) for the Intel Core i5 model, while the Core i7 variant will be at CNY11,599 (~Php83,900).
