AnTuTu released its list of top 10 fastest smartphones for March 2020. The Chinese benchmark platform posted separate rankings for the flagship and midrange devices. Interestingly, OPPO topped both categories with the OPPO Find X2 Pro and OPPO Reno 3 5G.
In the flagship category, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor currently dominates the top 10. The OPPO Find X2 Pro topped the list with more than 600,000 points. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro ranks second, and the third one is the vanilla version OPPO Find X2. Both smartphones come powered by a Snapdragon 865. Aside from similar chipsets, all top three devices also use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.
When it comes to the midrangers, the OPPO Reno 3 5G with Dimensity 100L processor leads the race by a mile. The device got a whopping 407,340 points, way higher than the 326,822 points of the Exynos 980-powered Vivo X30 5G which sits second on the list.
On the other hand, Redmi K30 Pro ranks third with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. The result is somehow surprising as the OPPO Reno 3 5G surpassed its Pro variant by a wide margin, considering that it’s supposed to be the more premium option.
AnTuTu conducted the test by calculating the average benchmarks scores of at least 1,000 smartphones tested. The rankings are subject to changes as benchmark scores differ throughout time.
