Cherry-Mobile-Titan-Pro

It’s official. The stylus-bearing Cherry Mobile Titan Pro phablet has its wraps finally taken off at the company event #WeAreOnFire. It’s a 5-inch device with a quad-core processor, a stylus called the Gesture Pen, and a suggested retail price of Php10,999.

That said, our price leak report turns out to be true. The Cherry Mobile Titan Pro seems to be a good, affordable choice for anyone looking for a Galaxy Note substitute. As shown in teasers, the device’s main selling point is its stylus called the Gesture Pen (a.k.a G-Pen). With it, one should be able to flaunt his artistic side with precision. Obviously, gestures are also built within the pen for certain functionalities. We’ve yet to try it, but we expect this stylus to be usable for taking screenshots and navigating the phone, pretty much a la the Note’s S Pen.

As the leak has further pointed out, the Cherry Mobile Titan Pro only comes with HD screen resolution. That’s not a bad thing though, since local brands have been mostly churning out phones with a mere qHD resolution. It also only opted for a quad-core processor when 2014 should be about octa-cores.
